Art / Craft

Art and craft is the most essential part of our school curriculum.

There are many benefits of art and craft that go beyond simply allowing our kids to express themselves in a more creative way.

Craft activities foster communication, listening, attention, and imagination. These activities enhance mental health and wellbeing as well as fostering a whole range of developmental skills in pre-schoolers, such as:

Fine motor skills
Enhancing children’s hand eye co-ordination.

Identification of shapes, colour and texture
Working with materials teaches them about colours, shapes and textures. How things work and how they fit together.

Creativity
Craft encourages children to play and experiment in a fun and relaxed environment.

Art and Craft enhances mental health and wellbeing as well as foster a whole range of developmental skills such as Hand and Eye Co-ordination, knowledge about colours, shapes and textures and an encouragement to play and experiment in a fun and relaxed environment. Our well qualified art and craft teachers involve and encourage our children to showcase their creative side.
